Anja Tepeš (born 27 February 1991) is a retired Slovenian ski jumping, ski jumper. She made her FIS Ski Jumping World Cup, World Cup debut on 3 December 2011 in Lillehammer, Norway. The 2011–12 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup was the 33rd FIS Ski Jumping World Cup, World Cup season in ski jumping for men, the 2011–12 FIS Ski Flying World Cup, 15th official World Cup season in ski flying and the 1st World Cup season in history for women, who previously competed only in the FIS Ski Jumping Continental Cup, Continental Cup. 2013–14 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup
The 2013–14 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup was the 35th World Cup season in ski jumping for men, the 17th official World Cup season in ski flying and the 3rd World Cup season for ladies. It began on 23 November 2013 in Klingenthal, Germany and ended on 23 March 2014 in Planica, Slovenia. A break took place during the season to accommodate the ski jumping event at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. From 13 to 16 March 2014, FIS Ski Flying World Championships 2014 took place in Harrachov, Czech Republic. The defending champions from the previous season were Gregor Schlierenzauer from Austria, who was also the defending ski flying champion, and Sara Takanashi from Japan. The Four Hills Tournament was won by Thomas Diethart of Austria, who won events in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Bischofshofen and finished third in Oberstdorf. Ski Jumping
Ski jumping is a winter sport in which competitors aim to achieve the farthest jump after sliding down on their skis from a specially designed curved ramp. Along with jump length, competitor's aerial style and other factors also affect the final score. Miran Tepeš
Miran Tepeš (born 25 April 1961) is a Slovenes, Slovenian former ski jumping, ski jumper and current ski jumping official who competed for Yugoslavia and Slovenia from 1979 to 1992. He won a silver medal in the team large hill competition at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary. He finished fourth in the normal hill individual competition, and tenth in the large hill competition. His best finish in FIS Ski Jumping World Cup competitions was second place (a total of seven times between 1985 and 1990). After retiring, Tepeš started working as a FIS competition official. His son Jurij Tepeš and daughter Anja Tepeš were also ski jumpers. Miran Tepeš is also a passionate sailor, who has circumnavigated the world three times with his own sailing boat "Skokica". Jurij Tepeš (born 14 February 1989) is a Slovenian former ski jumper. Career Tepeš won a bronze medal at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2011 in Oslo in the team large hill event. In the 2010–11 season he got his first podium in World Cup team event with Slovenia. For the first time in his career he won individual in a Grand Prix competition in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
