Aneta Tejralová
Aneta Tejralová (born 4 January 1996) is a Czech professional ice hockey player for PWHL Seattle of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL) and captain of the Czech Republic women's national ice hockey team. She previously played for the Ottawa Charge of the PWHL, the Boston Pride of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) and Modo Hockey of the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SHDL). Playing career She was selected 41st overall by PWHL Ottawa in the 2023 PWHL Draft. During the 2023–24 season she recorded two goals and six assists in 23 games. On 9 June 2024, she signed a two-year contract extension with Ottawa. On 9 June 2025, Tejralová was drafted second overall by PWHL Seattle in the 2025 PWHL Expansion Draft. The Ottawa Charge (French: ''Charge d'Ottawa'') are a professional ice hockey team based in Ottawa that competes in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). Ice Hockey At The 2022 Winter Olympics – Women's Tournament
The women's tournament in ice hockey at the 2022 Winter Olympics was held in Beijing, China between 3 and 17 February 2022. Ten countries qualified for the tournament; six of them did so automatically by virtue of their ranking by the International Ice Hockey Federation, one, China, automatically qualified as hosts, while the three others took part in a qualification tournament. The United States had been the defending champion. Canada won the gold medal, defeating the United States in the final 3–2. Finland defeated Switzerland 4–0 for the bronze medal. The IIHF U18 Women's World Championship, officially the IIHF Ice Hockey U18 Women's World Championship, is an annual ice hockey tournament for national women's under-18 (U18) ice hockey teams, administered by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). Junior ice hockey is amateur-level ice hockey for 16 to 20 year-old players. National Junior teams compete annually for the IIHF World Junior Championship. 2025 PWHL Expansion Draft
The 2025 PWHL Draft was the third annual draft in Professional Women's Hockey League history, and took place on June 24, 2025, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Kristýna Kaltounková was selected first overall by the New York Sirens. Eligibility The declaration period for the draft opened on March 1, 2024, and closed on May 8. Undrafted players will become free agents; players must declare for the draft to reach free agency. Selected players may re-enter the draft if they are not signed to their draft club after two years. No player may declare for more than two drafts. Players ineligible to play in the 2025–26 season are not eligible to be selected. On May 15, 2025, the PWHL released the full list of eligible players. 2023–24 PWHL Season
The 2023–24 PWHL season was the first season of operation of the Professional Women's Hockey League, and began play on January 1, 2024. Six teams competed during the inaugural season, located in PWHL Montreal, Montreal, PWHL Toronto, Toronto, PWHL New York, New York/Bridgeport, PWHL Boston, Boston, PWHL Ottawa, Ottawa, and PWHL Minnesota, Saint Paul. The season culminated in a two-round best-of-five playoff including the top four teams to determine the season champion. PWHL Toronto topped the regular season standings with 17 wins and 47 points.
