Andrés Manuel López Beltrán
Andrés Manuel López Beltrán (Macuspana, Tabasco; August 21, 1986) is a Mexican politician, member of the Morena political party. He is the second son of Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who was President of Mexico from 2018 to 2024. In September 2024, López Beltrán gained notoriety when his appointment as Secretary of National Organization of the Morena political party was announced. Biography López Beltrán studied Political and Social Sciences at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He is founder and majority owner of Finca Rocío S.A. de C.V., an artisan chocolate company named in honor of his deceased mother. Macuspana
Macuspana is a city in Macuspana Municipality in the south-central part of the state of Tabasco in southeastern Mexico. The city of Macuspana had a 2005 census population of 30,661 and is the fifth-largest city in the state. It is the municipal seat of the municipality of Macuspana, which has an area of 2,551.7 km2 (985.22 sq mi) and a population of 142,954, which includes numerous smaller communities. The largest of these communities is Benito Juárez (San Carlos). It is the birthplace of Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the current Mexican President. Tabasco, officially the Free and Sovereign State of Tabasco, is one of the Political divisions of Mexico, 32 Federal Entities of Mexico. Morena (political Party)
The National Regeneration Movement (), commonly referred to by its syllabic abbreviation Morena (), is a major left-wing political party in Mexico, often described as oscillating between social democracy and populism. 2018 Mexican General Election
General elections were held in Mexico on 1 July 2018. Voters elected a new president to serve a six-year term, 128 members of the Senate for six years and 500 members of the Chamber of Deputies for three years. It was one of the largest election days in Mexican history, with most of the nation's states holding state and local elections on the same day, including nine governorships, with over 3,400 positions subject to elections at all levels of government.
