Andrés Fischer Muñoz
Andrés "Andreas" Fischer Muñoz (born 1965) is a Colombian-American realist painter living in Switzerland. Biography Fischer was born into an artistic family in 1965 in Bogotá, to a Colombian father and an American mother. He studied art at the University of the Andes, Colombia (Arts and Humanities School), where he exhibited at its Marta Traba Gallery and obtained his bachelor's in 1990. He also exhibited at other institutions, and his graduate thesis and first solo exhibition was "A partir de la poesia" at the Gartner-Torres Gallery. In July 1991, he moved to New York City; he performed postgraduate work at the nondegree fine arts college Art Students League of New York, for four years, earned a master's in fine arts at Pratt Institute, and held twelve exhibitions in New York City, Chicago, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic. Colombian Americans ( or ), are Americans who have Colombian ancestry. The word may refer to someone born in the United States of full or partial Colombian descent or to someone who has immigrated to the United States from Colombia. Pasto
Pasto, officially San Juan de Pasto (; "Saint John of Pasto"), is the capital of the department of Nariño, in southern Colombia. Pasto was founded in 1537 and named after indigenous people of the area. In the 2018 census, the municipality had a population of 392,930. Pasto is located in the Atriz Valley on the Andes cordillera, at the foot of the Galeras volcano. History The etymology of the word ''Pasto'' can be traced to the indigenous people who inhabited the region at the arrival of the Spanish conquerors, the Pastos. However, the Atriz Valley itself was inhabited by the Quillacingas. ''Berner Zeitung'' (literally: "Journal of Bern"), also branded as ''BZ'', is a Swiss German-language daily newspaper, published by Tamedia in Bern. History and profile ''Berner Zeitung'' was first issued on 3 January 1979. Four different papers led to the creation of the also called ''BZ'': The ''Intelligenzblatt'' (1834), which was renamed '' Berner Tagblatt'' in 1888; The ''Emmenthaler Nachrichten'' (1883), the weekly newspaper of Emmenthal (1844) and the ''Neue Berner Zeitung'' (1919). Charles IV (; 11 November 1748 – 20 January 1819) was King of Spain and ruler of the Spanish Empire from 1788 to 1808. The Spain inherited by Charles IV gave few indications of instability, but during his reign, Spain entered a series of disadvantageous alliances and his regime constantly sought cash to deal with the exigencies of war. ''Wanderer above the Sea of Fog'' is a painting by German Romanticist artist Caspar David Friedrich made in 1818. It depicts a man standing upon a rocky precipice with his back to the viewer; he is gazing out on a landscape covered in a thick sea of fog through which other ridges, trees, and mountains pierce, which stretches out into the distance indefinitely.
