Andrée Lumière (22 June 1894 – 26 November 1918) was a French actress, best known for appearing in ''Repas de bébé'' (1895). Early life and career Andrée Lumière was born on 22 June 1894 in Lyon, France, as the only daughter of Auguste Lumière and Marguerite Lumière. In 1895, at the age of 1, Andrée appeared in the Silent film, silent short film ''Repas de bébé''. She is possibly the actress in the 1896 silent short film ''Childish Quarrel (1896 silent film), Childish Quarrel''. Death On 26 November 1918 in Lyon, France, Andrée Lumière died due to the Spanish flu, Spanish influenza at the age of 24. One of the earliest recordings made by the brothers Lumière, ''Le Repas de bébé'' (catalogued as Vue no. 88) is an unedited, single take of less than a minute's duration. The company's catalog described it as "Un papa fait avaler son déjeuner à un bébé" (a father feeds lunch [or breakfast] to a baby) and records that the scene was taken between March 22 and June 10, 1895. Enfants Aux Jouets
"Enfants" is a 2008 single by electronic music producer Ricardo Villalobos. Though 17 minutes in length, the A-side, "Enfants (Chants)", has been described as a "remarkably catchy, hype-inducing DJ tool" by Pitchfork Media, and as a "great tool for DJs" by electronic music magazine Resident Advisor, due to its minimal changes over the course of the entire song. Structure The branding of "Enfants (Chants)" as a "DJ tool" is due to its unusual structure, incorporating "no development over its seventeen minute length". The song is based on a repeating sample of "Baba Yaga La Sorcière", a track from Christian Vander's 1995 rework of his band Magma's '' Mekanïk Destruktïw Kommandöh'' (1973). With the addition electronic drums and hi-hat, it "turns snippet of a prog rock classic into a minimal techno classic."
