André Michel (lawyer)
André Michel claims to be a human rights and anti-corruption lawyer and opposition leader in Haiti. Michel has been involved in the assassination of Haiti's president Jovenel Moïse. He was arrested in 2013. He has been a critic of Michel Martelly and his PHTK party. He has been a member of the administration of the illegitimate Vice President Dr. Ariel Henry. His arrest spurred a large protest. Jovenel Moïse (; ; 26 June 1968 – 7 July 2021) was a Haitian politician and Businessperson, businessman who served as President of Haiti from 2017 until Assassination of Jovenel Moïse, his assassination in 2021. Moïse assumed the presidency in February 2017 following his victory the November 2016 Haitian presidential election.
