Andrew Ord
Andrew Ord (born 30 June 1979) is an English-Australian football coach who has held various roles in both International and club football throughout Asia. He is currently Head Coach of the Western Australia representative side. Career Early years Ord had a modest playing career as a central defender in Non-League football. He took up coaching at an early age when it became apparent that he would not be offered a full-time contract. After emigrating to Perth in 2006 he joined the WA NTC which has produced many players who have gone on to represent Australia. He also worked in Myanmar developing a full-time Academy for Yangon United before returning to Western Australia alongside Gareth Naven with Perth Glory in the National Youth League. Football West National Training Centre, simply known as FW NTC, is a soccer academy based in Perth, Western Australia. History The academy was established by Football West in conjunction with FFA and the WA Department of Sport and Recreation in 2006 to operate as an establishment where young players could be assisted to prepare for the game at the highest level. The boys' team played in the Football West State League in 2012 and 2013, however did not play for points. They also participated in the FFA State Institute Challenge. The boys' program was replaced by the Perth Glory NPL program in 2014. Tanaboon Kesarat (, born 21 September 1993) is a Thai professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder or a centre-back for Thai League 1 club Port. Kelantan Football Club () was a Malaysian professional football club based in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. Founded in 1946, the club had a long-standing rivalry with Terengganu. Buriram United Football Club () is a Thai professional football club based in Buriram. Peter James Butler (born 27 August 1966) is an English professional football player and coach who is currently the head coach of the Bangladesh women's national team. A-League Youth, formerly known as the National Youth League and Y-League is a defunct Australian national soccer youth developmental and under-21s league, founded by Football Federation Australia and later run by the Australian Professional Leagues. The current league was established as a successor to the previous competition of the National Youth League (1984–2004) and commenced in August 2008. The league runs in conjunction with the A-League Men as a developmental or reserve league. Gareth Naven (born 3 March 1969) is an Australian football coach and former player. He is currently the development officer at Football West and coach of Bayswater City SC in the NPL. Playing career Naven was born in 1969 in the English town of Wigan before his family moved to Perth, Western Australia. He was a junior with Gosnells but made his initial impact with Bayswater Inter in 1985.
