Andrew Barisić
Andrew Barisic (; ; born 22 March 1986 in Canberra, ACT) is an Australian association football, footballer who last played for Albury Wodonga Football Association side Wangaratta City FC, Wangaratta City. Club career Born in Canberra, Barisic began his career in 2002 with the Capital Football, ACTAS before moving to Canberra FC, Canberra Deakin in July 2003. In January 2004 he signed his first professional contract with Melbourne Knights, then left in the summer of 2006 for Europe and signed a contract for Germany-based Oberliga Nord club, Arminia Hannover. On 13 December 2007 he signed with his former club Melbourne Knights in the Victorian Premier League. He impressed regularly, becoming a key member of their squad and scoring 19 goals in 21 games in the 2008 season. Gold Coast United Football Club is an Australian Association football, soccer club based in Gold Coast, Queensland. The earliest incarnation of the club formed in 1966 and its home ground was at Nikiforides Family Park in Broadbeach. The first era of Gold Coast United senior teams competed in the Brisbane leagues until the club disbanded after the 1979 season, allowing Broadbeach United S.C., Broadbeach United Soccer Club to form its first senior team in 1980 at the same grounds. Twenty-eight years later the club was revived and was officially announced as a professional expansion team for the A-League's A-League 2009-10, 2009–2010 season on 28 August 2008. It was the second bid accepted by the league, with an unrelated bid known as Gold Coast Galaxy FC preceding it.
