Andreas Brännström
Andreas Brännström (born 10 May 1976) is a Swedish football coach and former footballer. Playing career Brännström started his playing career with Swedish side IK Sirius in 1998. Four years later, he signed for Swedish side Enköpings SK FK. Three years later, he signed for Swedish side IK Sirius. Early in his playing career, he was regarded as a Sweden prospect but was hampered by injuries. Managerial career Brännström obtained a UEFA Pro License and started his managerial career with Swedish side IK Sirius, where he suffered relegation from the second tier to the third tier. In 2013, he was appointed manager of Swedish side AFC United before being appointed manager of Swedish side Dalkurd in 2014, helping the club achieve promotion from the third tier to the second tier. Two years later, he returned to Swedish side Dalkurd as manager, helping the club achieve promotion from the second tier to the top flight. Dalkurd Fotbollsförening, commonly known as Dalkurd FF or simply Dalkurd () is a Swedish football club based in Uppsala. The club competes in Division 4, the sixth tier of football in the country. On 26 September 2004, the club was originally founded by members of the Kurdish diaspora in Borlänge, Dalarna. Dalkurd FF holds the record for the lowest average attendances in the history of both Allsvenskan and Superettan, the two highest Swedish leagues. Dalkurd FF is affiliated with Upplands Fotbollförbund. History The club was formed in Borlänge in 2004 by a group of Kurds. Allsvenskan (; ), also known as Fotbollsallsvenskan (, ) is a professional association football league in Sweden and the highest level of the Swedish football league system. Founded in 1924, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Superettan, the second highest league in the Swedish men's football league system.
