Andrea Wonfor
Andrea Jean Wonfor, also known as Andrea Duncan (31 July 1944 – 10 September 2004), was a British television executive and producer. Her successes included ''The Tube'', ''The Big Breakfast'', ''Byker Grove'' and '' The Word''. Early life Wonfor was born in 1944 as Andrea Jean Duncan. She was brought up in Canterbury but her father had links to the north of England. She attended Simon Langton Girls' Grammar School in Canterbury before studying at New Hall, Cambridge. Career In 1966, after her graduation from Cambridge University, Wonfor became a trainee at Granada Television with the future director-general of the BBC, John Birt, as a fellow new recruit. Three years later, she joined Tyne Tees Television as a researcher and a director. By 1976, she was their head of children's and young people's programmes. Breast cancer is a cancer that develops from breast tissue. Caroline Aherne
Caroline Mary Aherne (24 December 1963 – 2 July 2016) was an English actress, comedian, writer and director. ''Hillsborough'' is a television film written by Jimmy McGovern and starring Annabelle Apsion, Christopher Eccleston and Ricky Tomlinson. Set between 1989 and 1991, the film is a dramatization of the Hillsborough disaster, which saw 97 football supporters lose their lives at Hillsborough in Sheffield. Jimmy McGovern
James Stanley McGovern (born September 1949) is an English screenwriter and producer. He is best known for creating the drama series '' Cracker'' (1993–1995), for which he received two Edgar Awards from the Mystery Writers of America. He also received recognition for creating drama series such as '' Hillsborough'', '' The Lakes'', '' The Street'', and '' Accused'', among others. On 8 December 2021, McGovern was awarded the Freedom of The City of Liverpool in recognition of his life's work.
