Andalucía (cycling Team)
Andalucía () was a cycling team based in Spain; the team was managed by Antonio Cabello, and assisted by Juan Martinez as a directeur sportif. The team currently does not hold a requisite licence to compete in professional cycle racing, after the team were rejected a Professional Continental licence – where the team had competed at since 2006 – in December 2012. The team looked to have a secure future, after the Andalusian government guaranteed sponsorship until 2010. Vuelta A Andalucía
The Vuelta a Andalucía (Tour of Andalusia) or Ruta del Sol (Route of the Sun) is a regional Spanish road bicycle race first held in 1925. Since 2005, it has been a 2.1 category race on the UCI Europe Tour. The race became a part of the new UCI ProSeries in 2020. Carlos Castaño Panadero
Carlos Castaño Panadero (born 7 May 1979) is a retired Spanish cyclist. He had his best achievements in track cycling, in the 4000 m team pursuit. In this discipline he won a bronze medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics and at the 2004 UCI Track Cycling World Championships. He finished in 12th place in the individual pursuit at the 2004 Olympics. In road races, he won two stages of Vuelta a Burgos in 2005, finishing third overall. In 2006 he won one stage of Volta a Catalunya. Vuelta A Burgos
Vuelta Ciclista a Burgos is an elite professional road bicycle racing event held annually in the Burgos province of Spain. The men's Vuelta a Burgos has been a multi-day stage race as part of the UCI Europe Tour since 2005. In 2019, a multi-day women's stage race, the Vuelta a Burgos Feminas, was added that runs in mid-May. The men's race became part of the new UCI ProSeries in 2020.
