Ana Zaninović
Ana Zaninović (born 26 June 1987, in Split) is a Croatian taekwondo practitioner. She is the twin sister of taekwondo practitioner Lucija Zaninović. At the 2007 World Taekwondo Championships in Beijing, Zaninović won the silver medal in the women's flyweight class. Zaninović won the gold medal in the women's bantamweight class at the 2011 World Taekwondo Championships in Gyeongju. Zaninović qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics after winning the bronze medal in the women's 57 kg class at the 2011 World Taekwondo Olympic Qualification Tournament held in Baku. She defeated Mayu Hamada in a match in which Zaninović suffered a broken fist in the third round but held on and won with the golden point in the fourth overtime round. At the 2012 European Taekwondo Championships in Manchester, she won the silver medal in the women's bantamweight class after losing to Hatice Kübra Yangın in the sudden death round. Taekwondo At The 2012 Summer Olympics – Women's 57 Kg
The women's 57 kg competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics was held on 9 August, at the ExCeL Exhibition Centre. Competition format The competition was held in a partial double-elimination format. The main bracket consisted of a single elimination tournament, culminating in the gold medal match. Two bronze medals were awarded at the Taekwondo competitions. A second repechage bracket was used to determine the bronze medal winners. Every competitor who lost to one of the two finalists competed in the repechage, again in single-elimination competition. Each semifinal loser faced the last remaining repechage competitor from the opposite half of the bracket in a bronze medal match. Hatice Kübra Yangın
Hatice Kübra Yangın (born August 15, 1989 in Kütahya) is a Turkish people, Turkish female taekwondo practitioner competing in the bantamweight division. She is a member of the Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediyesi Kağıt Spor Kulübü, Kocaeli BB Kağıt S.K. in Izmit. She began with taekwondo at the age of 13 in Eskişehir, where her father is an employee of the province's sports office. Her sister Gamze Yangın, Gamze is also a national taekwondo practitioner. Hatice Kübra Yangın became champion at the 2008 European Taekwondo Championships. She won a bronze medal at the 2011 World Taekwondo Championships held in Gyeongju, South Korea. The 2011 World Taekwondo Olympic Qualification Tournament for the London Olympic Games was held at the Sarhadchi Olympic Center in Baku, Azerbaijan from June 30 to July 3, 2011.
