Américo
Domingo Johnny Vega Urzúa (born December 24, 1977), commonly known as Américo, is a Chilean singer. He became known as the lead artist of Américo y la Nueva Alegría. He is the son of a locally known boleros singer, Melvin "Corazón" Américo. Americo was a coach on the second season of La Voz Ecuador in 2016. Biography Beginnings Américo started his musical career at the 8 years old, when unexpectedly, he had to replace his brother Darwin, who had to sing in the ''Carnaval del Parque Lauca'', one of the most populated areas of Arica. After that, he started participating in local and regional festivals. When he was 9 years old, he recorded his debut album, ''Para mis padres'', and later released his second album, ''Mi colegiala'', while he was a teenager. 2010 Viña Del Mar International Song Festival
The '' Viña del Mar International Song Festival 2010'' was held from February 22, 2010 until Friday February 26, 2010. The musical event was broadcast on Chilean TV channels Televisión Nacional de Chile and Canal 13, and will be held in Viña del Mar, Chile, like the past 50 editions. The show is hosted for the second time by Soledad Onetto and Felipe Camiroaga. For the first time the whole event was broadcast in HD (High Definition) via Canal 13. The last day on February 27, 2010 of the festival was canceled due to the 2010 Chile earthquake. Background For the first time, the people participated in the choice of the song that represents Chile in the international competition via text message which chose 5 songs. Los Nocheros
Los Nocheros is a pop-folk music group from Salta, Argentina. Composed of Mario Teruel, Rubén Ehizaguirre, Kike Teruel and Álvaro Teruel (who replaced Jorge Rojas when the latter pursued a solo career in 2005), their 1994 debut album was titled ''Con El Alma''. Los Nocheros gained fame during appearances at the National Folklore Festival in Cosquín, Córdoba. Jorge Humberto González Ríos (born 6 December 1964) is a Chilean singer-songwriter and producer, best known for being the leader, vocalist, songwriter and bass player of the post-punk band Los Prisioneros, considered by some to be among the most important Latin American bands of all time.
