Assala
Assala Mostafa Hatem Nasri (; born 15 May 1969), commonly known as Assala (), is a Syrian singer. Early life and career Assala was born in Damascus, Syria to a middle class Arab family. Mostafa Nasri, Assala's father, was a revered composer and singer. Assala began her musical career by performing patriotic, religious, and children's songs when she was fourteen years old. She sang the theme song "Qessas Al Sho'oub" (), of the cartoon show, ''Hekayat Alamiyah'' (). In 1984, Mostafa Nasri died after suffering from internal bleeding caused by a car accident. Ragheb Alama ( born 7 June 1962) is a Lebanon, Lebanese music artist and television personality. Alama began his career in the 1980s when he appeared as a contestant on the talent show broadcast Studio El Fan, on which he received the Platinum Award. Samira Abdelrazak Bensaïd (; born 10 January 1958), professionally known as Samira Said (), is a Moroccan-Egyptian singer who has lived in Egypt for more than 40 years and is known for her Egyptian Arabic genre.
