"Amico è" is a 1983 song composed by Dario Baldan Bembo (music), Nini Giacomelli and Sergio Bardotti (lyrics), and performed by Baldan Bembo and Caterina Caselli. A hymn to friendship, "Amico è" was the ending theme song of the Mike Bongiorno's quiz show ''SuperFlash''. The song was also linked to a contest organized by the magazine ''TV Sorrisi e Canzoni'', in which the readers should have identified four popular singers hidden among the choirs; in the last episode of the television show it was revealed they were Pupo, Ornella Vanoni, Giuni Russo and Gigliola Cinquetti. Outside its immediate success, later the song became a widely spread football chant. In the 1982 album ''Spirito della Terra'', Baldan Bembo included a different version of the song titled "Falò" featuring Riccardo Fogli and Marcella Bella. Dario Baldan Bembo (born 15 May 1948) is an Italian composer, singer-songwriter, music arranger and musician, best known for the songs "Aria (song), Aria" and "Amico è". Background Born in Milan, Baldan Bembo started his music career as a keyboardist for, among others, Lucio Battisti and Adriano Celentano. In 1970 he joined the group Equipe 84, with whom he started working as a composer. In 1972 he got his first successes as author of two songs written for Mia Martini, "Piccolo uomo" and "Donna sola", followed in 1973 by "Minuetto (song), Minuetto" and in 1974 by "Inno". Magneto was a popular Mexican boy band of the 1980s and 1990s. The band formed on February 14, 1983. In 1986, Magneto was featured in "Siempre en Domingo," a Mexican entertainment show viewed across Latin America and parts of Europe. Mexican teen pop group Magneto emerged in 1983. Their first record, Dejalo Que Gire came in 1984, followed by Super 6 Magneto. The Latin pop outfit suffered several lineup changes before achieving their first gold record in 1986.
