''America's Funniest Home Videos'', also called ''America's Funniest Videos'' (abbreviated as ''AFV''), is an American video clip television series on ABC, based on a recurring segment on the Japanese variety show '' Fun TV with Kato-chan and Ken-chan'' (1986–1992). The show features humorous home videos that are submitted by viewers. The most common videos feature unintentional physical comedy, pets or children and some staged pranks. Originally airing as a special in 1989, it debuted as a regular weekly series in January 1990. ''Videos After Dark'' is an American video clip television special created by Vin Di Bona, and hosted by Bob Saget on ABC. The show, which aired on March 12, 2019, was billed as "a special first-look episode" of a series, with 12 more episodes taped which were planned to be broadcast "later in the year", but as of July 2024, the series premiere remains the only airing. ''XHDRBZ'' (stylized as ''XHDЯBZ'', a wordplay for "XH", a Mexican broadcasting satellite code, and "DRBZ", consonants of Eugenio Derbez' last name) is a Mexican sketch comedy television series created by Eugenio Derbez. It premiered on Canal de las Estrellas on 15 July 2002. XHDRBZ emulated a television channel that broadcasts sketches. The series ended production in 2004, due to Derbez wanting to focus on other projects. The final episode aired on 10 March 2004. Format The show emulated a TV channel.
