Ameliaranne Ekenasio
Ameliaranne Ekenasio (née Wells; born 11 January 1991) is an Australian-born, New Zealand netball player. She currently plays for Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic in the ANZ Premiership. Ekenasio is known for her high work rate and smooth long-range shooting. Ekenasio made her New Zealand debut in the 2014 Constellation Cup against Australia. She missed the 2017 season due to the birth of her son Ocean, but returned to take a full part in 2018. In a remarkable comeback, she was selected for the New Zealand netball team to compete at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, however the Silver Ferns team failed to medal. After finishing runner-up in 2018, Ekenasio's Central Pulse side won the 2019 ANZ Premiership defeating the Northern Stars in the Grand Final.
