''Amar Singh Chamkila'' is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language Biographical film, biographical Drama (film and television), drama film based on the life of musician Amar Singh Chamkila. It is directed, produced and co-written by Imtiaz Ali (director), Imtiaz Ali. The film stars Diljit Dosanjh in the titular role, with Parineeti Chopra as his second wife, Amarjot. Imtiaz Ali (born 16 June 1971) is an Indian film director, producer, actor and writer who works in Hindi cinema. Early and personal life Imtiaz Ali was born in Jamshedpur and spent some of his early years in Patna. Imtiaz belongs to the Muslim family of Jamshedpur in Bihar (now Jharkhand).
