Diane Marie Amann
Diane Marie Amann is Regents' Professor of International Law and holds the Emily & Ernest Woodruff Chair in International Law at the University of Georgia School of Law. She has taught or visited at numerous other institutions; most recently, as Research Visitor at the Faculty of Law, University of Oxford Bonavero Institute of Human Rights and as Visiting Fellow at Exeter College, Oxford in fall 2024. Anton Amann
Anton Amann (20 June 1956 – 6 January 2015) was an Austrian chemist and Professor of chemistry at the Innsbruck Medical University. He worked in the area of physical chemistry, ECG analysis, and exhaled breath analysis. Amann was the head of the Breath Research Institute of the Leopold-Franzens University of Innsbruck (formerly an Institute of the Austrian Academy of Science) and editor in chief of the Journal of Breath Research. He authored more than 150 scientific articles. He died in Innsbruck in 2015. Career After studying chemistry at the ETH Zürich, he continued with a PhD in Science. Betty Amann
Philippine Amann (10 March 1905 – 2 or 3 August 1990), known professionally as Betty Amann, was an American film actress. Born to American parents in the German Empire, she began her acting career in the United States with the film ''The Kick-Off'' (1926). She is perhaps best known for her role in ''Asphalt'' (1929). Early years Philippine Amann was born in 1905 (some sources say 1906 or 1907) in Pirmasens to a Swiss-German Lutheran family. She has also been referred to as Jewish.
