''Amanhã É Tarde'' (Portuguese language, Portuguese for ''Tomorrow's Too Late'') is the fifth studio album by Brazilian band Fellini (band), Fellini. It was released on March 4, 2002, by independent ''Rio de Janeiro (city), carioca'' label Midsummer Madness (record label), Midsummer Madness. It is their first album of new material since 1990's ''Amor Louco''. Although it is labeled as a Fellini album, it doesn't feature Jair Marcos and Ricardo Salvagni; as it happened in their 1986 album ''Fellini Só Vive 2 Vezes'', it only features Cadão Volpato and Thomas Pappon. The album's style is a mix between ''Fellini Só Vive 2 Vezes'' and ''Amor Louco'': the instrumentation is minimalist, as in ''2 Vezes'', but light-hearted, varied and reminiscent of MPB, as in ''Amor Louco'' — the track "Besouro" even features a ''berimbau''. Fellini (band)
Fellini was a Brazilian Rock music, rock band formed in São Paulo in 1984 by Cadão Volpato (vocals, harmonica), Jair Marcos (guitar), Ricardo Salvagni (drums and percussion), and former Voluntários da Pátria and Smack (Brazilian band), Smack member Thomas Pappon (bass and occasionally other instruments). One of the most well-known bands of the Brazilian underground scene of the mid-1980s (and having a strong cult following to the present day), Fellini originally began as a straightforward post-punk band influenced by acts such as Joy Division, The Stranglers and The Durutti Column, but would gradually develop a more eclectic sonority that mixed post-punk with other genres such as Música popular brasileira, MPB, New wave music, new wave and samba rock, acquiring a unique, almost non-descript musical style.
