Amal Maher
Amal Maher ( ; born 19 February 1985) is an Egyptian singer and actress. She is heavily influenced by Umm Kulthum. Career Maher began singing as a child and was discovered by the general public at the age of fifteen by taking up the songs of Umm Kulthum. Deciding to forgo traditional schooling, Maher enrolled at the Conservatory of Arabic music to start a singing career. She soon met the composer Mohamed Diae, whom she eventually married and had a son with. Diae helped Amal Maher release a song and video clip for ''Ely Binak W Binah''. The song was popular on radio and music television. Maher recorded her first song in 2006 and received the support of Ammar El Sherei, who she considers to be her spiritual father because he has been a loyal supporter and mentor throughout her career. Little Amal
Little Amal is a manually operated, partly-animatronic giant puppet and is the centrepiece of the performance art project called The Walk. The project was created by the British production companies The Walk Productions and Good Chance in collaboration with the South African Handspring Puppet Company. With the intention of celebrating human migration and cultural diversity, the puppet initially journeyed for five months from the Syria-Turkey border via Europe to the United Kingdom, and walked and took part in locally arranged events in 65 towns and cities along the way. Little Amal was greeted at some venues by local dignitaries, such as Pope Francis, Vincent Nichols Archbishop of Westminster and Cllr Caroline Makinson, Mayor of Barnsley. Amal Neerad (born 13 February 1978) is an Indian film director, cinematographer and producer who mainly works in Malayalam cinema. He attended the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata (first batch). Amal Nasser El-Din
Amal Nasser el-Din (, ; 31 July 1928 – 9 February 2025) was an Israeli Druze author and politician who served as a member of the Knesset for Likud between 1977 and 1988. In 2023 he was awarded the Israel Prize for Special contribution to Society and the State. Career El-Din was born in Daliyat al-Karmel on 31 July 1928. El-Din headed the section for demobilised soldiers from 1961 and 1964 and was founder and director of the Yad LeBanim memorial project. From 1964 until 1971 he served as secretary of the Daliyat al-Karmel and Isfiya Workers Council. In 1969 his son Lutfi was killed on the last day of his national service. Amal Murkus (, ; born 11 July 1968) is a Palestinian singer. Her post-modern music style has a variety of Mediterranean influences. Her first album, ''Amal'', was released in 1998, and her second, ''Shauq'', in 2004.
