Alberto Alén Pérez
Alberto Alén Pérez (1948 in Havana – 14 October 2004) was a Cuban musicologist and cellist. Early life and education Alén studied violoncello with Professor Fabio Landa at Alejandro García Caturla Conservatory in Marianao, Havana, and at the Amadeo Roldán Conservatory in the same city. He also studied psychology at the Havana University and musicology in the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA) where he graduated in 1982. Biography As a cellist, Alén worked in several orchestras such as the Orquesta Popular de Conciertos founded by Alfredo Diez Nieto and the Orchestra of the Grand Theater of Havana. He also performed in other orchestras affiliated to the Cuban Radio and Television Network. Alén taught at the Higher Institute of Art (ISA) and worked as researcher at the Center for Research and Development of Cuban Music. Markku Allan Alén (born 15 February 1951) is a Finland, Finnish former Rallying, rally and race car driver. He drove for Fiat, Lancia, Subaru World Rally Team, Subaru and Toyota Team Europe, Toyota in the World Rally Championship, and held the List of World Rally Championship records, record for most stage wins (801) in the series, until Sébastien Loeb overtook it at the 2011 Rally Catalunya. Alén's phrase "now maximum attack" became well known. Alén never won the world championship itself, despite being for a long time the driver with the most wins to his credit. Alén Diviš
Alén Diviš (26 April 190015 November 1956) was a Czech painter known for his melancholic art. Having spent much of his life abroad, often working in solitude, he remained rather unknown during his life but has had a postmortem revival in the art world. Early life and career Diviš was born in Blato u Poděbrady but in 1911, his family moved to Prague. It was there that Diviš first received painting lessons, briefly attending the College of Applied Arts. In his early 20s, Diviš became intensely focused on art, particularly with the cubist movement. In the summer of 1926, he moved to Paris to devote himself fully to his art. There he attended lectures by František Kupka and explored cubism, expressionism, and classicism. He made new friends in the French artistic community and maintained friendships with other Czechs there, such as composer Bohuslav Martinů.
