Chaudhry Farrukh Altaf is a Politician who has been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since February 2024 and previously served in this position from August 2018 till August 2023. Political career Chaudhry Farrukh Altaf contested on Pakistan Peoples Party's ticket in the 1997 Pakistani general election from NA-45 Jhelum-I (which was renamed later to NA-66 (Jhelum-I)). Altaf Mahmud
Altaf Mahmud (23 December 1933 – September 1971) was a musician, cultural activist, and martyred freedom fighter of the Bangladesh Liberation War. He was also a language activist of the Language Movement and composer of " Amar Bhaier Rokte Rangano", the famous song written to commemorate the event. He was awarded Ekushey Padak in 1977 and Independence Day Award in 2004 posthumously by the government of Bangladesh. Altaf Hussain (; ; born 17 September 1953 in Karachi) is a British Pakistani politician who is known as the founder of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement. Altaf Husain (, ; 26 January 1900 – 25 May 1968) was an educationist, journalist, and Pakistan Movement activist. He is noted as one of the pioneers of print journalism in Pakistan and was the founding editor and the first editor-in-chief of English-language newspaper, Dawn, which he edited for almost twenty years. In addition, he served as Industry Minister of Pakistan in the administration of President Ayub Khan from 1965 until resigning in 1968 for health reasons. Altaf Hossain Gulandaz (15 August 1947 – 17 February 2007) was a Bangladesh Awami League politician and member of parliament from Mymensingh-10 for three terms.
