Almas Kishkenbayev (or Kishkenbaev) (, ''Almas Kışkenbaev'') (born June 1, 1985) is a Kazakh singer who rose to popularity after winning ''SuperStar KZ'', the Kazakh version of ''Pop Idol'', shown by Perviy Kanal Evraziya. Almas Ukhaa
''Almas'' is a genus of troodontid theropod dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous of Mongolia. It contains a single species, ''Almas ukhaa'', named in 2017 by Pei Rui and colleagues, based on a partial articulated skeleton. The only known specimen was found in the Djadochta Formation, which is late Campanian in age. Discovery and naming In 1993, a joint expedition by the American Museum of Natural History and the Mongolian Academy of Sciences discovered near Ukhaa Tolgod, the Flaming Cliffs, a skeleton of a small theropod. It was prepared by Amy Davidson. Though in subsequent years its traits were inserted in some data matrices of phylogenetic analyses, a description of the fossil was never published. In 2017, the type species ''Almas ukhaa'' was named and described by Pei Rui, Mark Norell, Daniel Barta, Gabriel Bever, Michael Pittman and Xu Xing. Almış or Almuš (Almysh Elteber, Almish Yiltawar, , , ), Elteber, iltäbär of the Volga Bulgars, is believed to have been the first Islam, Muslim ruler (emir) of Volga Bulgaria. Almış was a son of Şilki (). He ruled the Volga Bulgars, probably from Bolghar, in c. 895-925. According to the controversial Cäğfär_Taríxı, ''History of Jaˁfar'', Almış was a younger son of Şilki, and had succeeded his older brother Bat Ugïr as ruler. The same text identifies Almış with Álmos, the father of the Hungarian prince Árpád; this is perhaps unlikely despite the close correspondence of the names and the approximate synchronicity, although the Bulgars and Hungarians are believed to have shared some common Huns, Hunnic and/or Onogurs, Onoghuric elements in their origins. is a 1987 role playing platform game developed for the PC-88 and published by Game Arts in 1987 in Japan. Almas Tower
Almas Tower ( Diamond Tower) is a 68-storey, , supertall skyscraper in the Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Construction of the office building began in early 2005 and was completed in 2008 with the installation of some remaining cladding panels at the top of the tower. The building was topped out in 2008, and became the tallest building in Dubai until 2009 when it was surpassed by Burj Khalifa. Construction Almas Tower is located on its own artificial island in the centre of the Jumeirah Lake Towers Free Zone scheme, the tallest of all the buildings on the development. The Almas Temple is a Masonic building facing Franklin Square at 1315 K St NW in Washington, D.C. It houses Almas Shrine, a sub-group for Shriner's International whose headquarters is located in Tampa, Florida. The edifice is in the Moorish architectural style and features an elaborate, multicolored terra-cotta façade. It was constructed in 1929 by Allen H. Potts, a member of the temple. The building is five stories in height. It was renovated and relocated about 100 feet westward to its current location in 1987 to make way for a new office complex, One Franklin Square.
