Kabaddi
Kabaddi (, ) is a contact team sport played between two teams of seven players. It is one of the traditional games of South Asia. In this game, a raider enters the opposing half of the court to touch defenders and attempt to return within 30 seconds without being tackled. Kabaddi World Cup (International Kabaddi Federation)
The Kabaddi World Cup, is an indoor international kabaddi tournament conducted by the International Kabaddi Federation (IKF). It follows the standard style (indoors on a rectangular court) and is contested by men's and women's national teams. The format involves a round-robin group stage, including 5 teams in 2 pools, with the first and second place finishers of each group progressing to the semi-finals. The IKF World Cup men's tournament has been held three times and the women's event has been held only once. The tournaments were all held in India. In all cases, the events were won by the India team, and the team from Iran has always been the runner-up. The men's events were in 2004 in Mumbai, in 2007 in Panvel, and in 2016 in Ahmedabad. South Asian Games
The South Asian Games is a quadrennial multi-sport event held among athletes from South Asia. The South Asia Olympic Council, which was formed in 1983, governs it. The Games consist of seven countries, namely Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Afghanistan had participated in the Games four times, but left the SAOC after participating in 2016. The first South Asian Games were hosted by Kathmandu, Nepal in 1984.
