Alina Smith
Alina Smith (born August 25, 1987) is a Russian-American pop singer, songwriter and, record producer. She is a co-founder of the music writing and production company Lyre, and she has written and produced songs for artists including Betty Who, Itzy, Kep1er, Gabi DeMartino and Red Velvet. Early life Alina Smith was born in St. Petersburg, Soviet Union. She began singing and playing piano at three, fully conversing in both languages (English and Russian) at four; and composing music and writing poetry and stories from five years old. As a child, she toured with the music group Aurora as a singer. Career In 2010, Sony Japan picked Smith's composition "Fallin' 4 U" to be the debut single from the artist Aisha, featuring Darryl McDaniels of Run DMC. In 2011, Smith's own song "Kissing Tree" was selected for a compilation CD released to raise relief funds after the Japanese earthquake and tsunami. ''Paintings of Me'' is the debut solo studio album by American singer and media personality Gabi DeMartino. It was independently released on May 6, 2022. Background In December 2019, Niki and Gabi announced a hiatus to focus on their solo projects. Niki and Gabi (born May 5, 1995) are an American duo composed of twin sisters Niki DeMar and Gabi DeMartino. They rose to prominence following the creation of their YouTube channel, where they posted covers and vlogs. They partnered with Awesomeness to produce several web shows, including their self-titled reality series which has run for five seasons. They made their acting debut in the 2016 comedy-drama film ''Dance Camp'', and their official debut single "First" was released in 2017. "In the Morning" (also called "Mafia in the Morning"; ) is a song recorded by South Korean girl group Itzy. It was released on April 30, 2021, through JYP Entertainment, as the lead single from the group's fourth extended play, ''Guess Who''. An English version was released as a single on May 14, 2021. It was produced by JYP Entertainment's founder, J.Y. Park, alongside South Korean songwriters Danke and Kass and composer Lee Hae-sol.
