Alice is an unincorporated community in Linn County, in the U.S. state of Iowa. Geography Alice is in Spring Grove Township, south of Troy Mills, at the corners of sections 5, 6, 7, and 8. Alice lies at the junction of County Highway E16 and Alice Road. History The Alice post office was established in 1892. The community's population was 16 in 1900, and 35 in 1920. The Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) is a database of name and locative information about more than two million physical and cultural features throughout the United States and its territories, Antarctica, and the associated states of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau. It is located at the intersections of Sutton Road and County Highway D66 (Paris Road) near the banks of the Wapsipinicon River.
