Alfândega Square (Portuguese language, Portuguese: ''Praça da Alfândega'') is a public, historic, and tourist attraction in the Brazil, Brazilian city of Porto Alegre, capital of the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Located in the Centro Histórico, Porto Alegre, Historic Center of the city, the square is protected by the National Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage (IPHAN) and the Institute of Historical and Artistic Heritage of the Rio Grande do Sul (IPHAE). Mauá () is a municipality in the state of São Paulo, in Brazil. It is part of the metropolitan region of São Paulo.
