Alexandru Ioniță (footballer, Born 1994)
Alexandru Cornel Ioniță (; born 14 December 1994) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or a winger for Chinese Super League club Yunnan Yukun. A youth exponent of Rapid București, Ioniță made his professional debut at age 16. He moved to Astra Giurgiu in 2014, where he won four domestic trophies. Four years later, Ioniță was subject to a €1 million transfer to CFR Cluj, but failed to impose himself and had loan stints at Universitatea Craiova and Astra. In 2021, he returned to Rapid București. Internationally, Ioniță earned his first cap for the Romania senior team in a 3–1 win over Kazakhstan in September 2017. Asociația Fotbal Club Astra Giurgiu (), commonly known as Astra Giurgiu or simply Astra, was a Romanian football club last based in the city of Giurgiu, Giurgiu County. 2013–14 Liga II
The 2013–14 Liga II was the 74th season of the Liga II, the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 7 September. The 25 teams were divided in two series (with 13, respectively 12 teams). The regular season was played in a round-robin tournament. The first six teams from each series played a play-off for promotion to Liga I. The teams placed 6th to 12th played in a Relegation play-out. The first two teams in each series promoted at the end of the season to Liga I, and the teams placed below the 10th place were relegated to Liga III. Constantin Valentin Budescu (; born 19 February 1989) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or a forward. Budescu began his senior career at Petrolul Ploiești, amassing over 150 appearances throughout the course of six seasons before transferring to rival team Astra Ploiești in 2011. With the latter side, which relocated to Giurgiu, he won one Liga I, one Cupa României, and one Supercupa României. The 2015–16 Liga I (also known as Liga 1 Orange for sponsorship reasons) was the 98th season of the Liga I, the top professional league for Romanian association football clubs. The Cupa Ligii () was Romania's secondary club football tournament. Like the Cupa României, it was played on a knockout (single elimination) basis. History It is unclear when the competition was first created, as there are no official recordings. It started in 1994, but there may already have been an edition as early as 1978. Cupa Ligii was meant to shorten the break between the end of the league season and the start of a major international competition.
