Alexandra Panova
Alexandra Alexandrovna Panova (; born 2 March 1989) is a Russian professional tennis player who specializes in doubles. She has a career-high WTA doubles ranking of world No. 30 achieved on 28 October 2024. She peaked at No. 71 in singles on 30 July 2012. She has won eight doubles titles on the WTA Tour. On the ITF Women's Circuit, she won two of her 16 doubles titles with her older sister, Olga Panova. The 2022 French Open was a Grand Slam (tennis), Grand Slam tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. 2023 US Open – Women's Doubles
Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe defeated Laura Siegemund and Vera Zvonareva in the final, 7–6(11–9), 6–3 to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2023 US Open. Dabrowski became the first Canadian to win a women's doubles major title and Routliffe became the first New Zealander to win a US Open title. Barbora Krejčíková and Kateřina Siniaková were the defending champions, but lost in the second round to Barbora Strýcová and Markéta Vondroušová. Maria Yuryevna Sharapova (, ; born 19 April 1987) is a Russian former professional tennis player. She was ranked as the world No. 1 in women's singles by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) for 21 weeks. Anna Chakvetadze
Anna Djambuliovna Chakvetadze ( ; born 5 March 1987) is a Russian former professional tennis player. In her career, Chakvetadze won eight WTA Tour singles titles. She reached her highest singles ranking of world No. 5 in September 2007, after reaching the US Open semifinals. She also made the quarterfinals of the Australian Open and French Open that same year. She announced her retirement on 11 September 2013, due to a persisting back injury. She is currently a commentator on the Eurosport channel. Olga Alexandrovna Panova (; born 7 January 1987) is a Russian former tennis player. Her younger sister, Alexandra Panova, is still active as a tennis player. In her career, Olga won nine doubles titles on the ITF Women's Circuit. On 17 July 2006, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 274. On 21 August 2006, she peaked at No. 192 in the doubles rankings. Partnering Ekaterina Makarova in 2005, Panova was runner-up at the $75k Al Habtoor Tennis Challenge in Dubai. ITF Women's Circuit
The ITF Women's World Tennis Tour, previously known as the ITF Women's Circuit, is a series of professional tennis tournaments run by the International Tennis Federation for female professional tennis players. History It serves as a developmental circuit for the WTA Tour, which is run by the independent Women's Tennis Association (WTA). The WTA Tour (also known as the Hologic WTA Tour for sponsorship reasons) is a worldwide top-tier tennis tour for women and organized by the Women's Tennis Association. Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori defeated Taylor Townsend and Donald Young in the final, 7–6(7–0), 7–5 to win the mixed doubles tennis title at the 2024 US Open. Errani and Vavassori saved a match point en route to the title, in the first round against Robert Galloway and Shelby Rogers. 2024 Wimbledon Championships – Mixed Doubles
Jan Zieliński and Hsieh Su-wei defeated Santiago González and Giuliana Olmos in the final, 6–4, 6–2 to win the mixed doubles tennis title at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships. González and Olmos were the first Mexican team to reach the final, and Olmos was the first female Mexican finalist in the Open Era. Mate Pavić and Lyudmyla Kichenok were the defending champions, but they withdrew from their second-round match. Bethanie Mattek-Sands was vying for a career Grand Slam and Golden Slam, but lost in the first round to Máximo González and Ulrikke Eikeri.
