Alexandra Theodora Frosterus-Såltin (6 December 1837 – 29 February 1916, Vaasa) was a Swedish-speaking population of Finland, Finnish-Swedish Genre art, genre painter and illustrator, who is also known for her altarpieces. Biography She was born in Ingå, Finland, in 1837. Her father, Benjamin, was a theology professor and her mother, Vilhelmina, was Finland's first female graduate student. Her mother died when he was seven, and her father remarried in 1846. Most of her childhood was spent in Vaasa, where her father was a church official. At the age of fourteen, she left home to become a private student of Robert Wilhelm Ekman in Turku, and studied with him for five years.Biographical notes

Carl Petter Daniel Dyrendahl Nyblin (30 June 1856 – 19 July 1923) was a Norwegian photographer who spent most of his life in Finland. Biography Daniel Nyblin was born on 30 June 1856 in Drammen, Norway. His father was sculptor, Carl Petter Dyrendahl Nyblin (1818–1883). After studying at the photography studio of the Norwegian Mapping and Cadastre Authority in Christiania (Oslo), he spent some time as a photographer in Drammen. In 1875, he moved to Helsinki, where he worked in the studios of . Two years later, he established his own studio. Later, he opened branches in Vyborg, Turku, Pori and Vaasa. In addition to portraits and landscapes, he created reproductions of paintings and photographed theatrical productions. He also sold cameras and other photographic equipment and, after amateur photography became popular in the 1880s, he opened a store expressly for that purpose.
