Alex Odeh
Alexander Michel Odeh (; April 4, 1944 – October 11, 1985) was a Palestinians, Palestinian activist. Odeh was serving as West Coast of the United States, West Coast regional director of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) when he was assassinated in a bombing in Santa Ana, California. Life and murder Born into a Catholic Church in Palestine, Palestinian Catholic family in Jifna, Mandatory Palestine, Alex Odeh immigrated to the United States in 1972 at the age of 28. He was a lecturer and poet who had published a volume of his poetry, ''Whispers in Exile.'' Jifna
Jifna (, ''Jifnâ'') is a State of Palestine, Palestinian village in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate in the central West Bank of the State of Palestine, located north of Ramallah and north of Jerusalem. Jifna has retained a Christianity, Christian majority since the 6th century. Its total land area consists of 6,015 dunams, of which 420 are designated as built-up areas, most of the remainder being covered with olive, fig and apricot groves. Irving David Rubin (April 12, 1945 – November 13, 2002) was a Canadian-born American political and religious activist who served as chairman of the Jewish Defense League (JDL) from 1985 to 2002.
