Alex Gâlmeanu
Alexandru Pompiliu Gâlmeanu (born 29 October 1978) is a Romanian photographer and image director. He started working in 1998, and has primarily focused on editorial, advertising, fashion or abstract photography. Early life and education Gâlmeanu was born on 29 October 1978 in Bucharest, Romania. At the age of 14, he started learning to photograph using the existing photographic equipment in his family's house, including a functional photo laboratory. A year later, in 1993, he published his first photograph, cover no. 3 of Salut magazine. From 1994 till 1997, he attended Colegiul Național Matei Basarab for his higher education, and also worked for the magazine of the "Matei Basarab" National College. Cristian Chivu
Cristian Eugen Chivu (; born 26 October 1980) is a Romanian professional football coach and former player who is the current head coach of Serie A club Inter Milan. A defender, he began his career with hometown club CSM Reșița before moving to Universitatea Craiova in 1998, leaving Romania to join Dutch club Ajax a season later. His performances as the captain of Ajax inspired an €18 million transfer to Roma in 2003. Chivu won the Coppa Italia in his last of four seasons in Rome before a transfer to Inter Milan, where he spent the rest of his career before retiring in 2014. After recovering from a fractured skull, Chivu wore a distinctive protective headgear from 2010 onwards. Johnny Răducanu
Johnny Răducanu (born Răducan Crețu; 1 December 1931 – 19 September 2011) was a Romanian jazz pianist of Romani ethnic background, whose family has a long musical tradition dating back to the 17th century. He was born in Brăila and started playing the double bass at the age of 19 before switching to piano. During his musical career, some of his many collaborations outside Romania were those with Art Farmer (trumpet) and Slide Hampton (trombone), and Friedrich Gulda (piano). In 1987, Răducanu received an honorary membership in the Louis Armstrong Academy in New Orleans. He was the founder of the Romanian Jazz school, and during a musical career spanning over half a century, he discovered, nurtured and trained several generations of Romanian jazz musicians.
