Aleksandr Vladimirovich Maksimenko (russian: Александр Владимирович Максименко; born 19 March 1998) is a Russian football player who plays for FC Spartak Moscow. Club career He made his debut in the Russian Football National League for FC Spartak-2 Moscow on 13 August 2016 in a game against FC Tyumen. He made his debut for the main Spartak squad on 25 October 2017 in a Russian Cup game against PFC Spartak Nalchik. He made his debut in the Russian Premier League for FC Spartak Moscow on 28 July 2018 in a game against FC Orenburg. He became the starting Spartak goalkeeper after that in the beginning of the 2018–19 season over Artyom Rebrov as Aleksandr Selikhov was suffering from a tendon injury. Artyom Gennadyevich Rebrov (russian: Артём Геннадьевич Ребров, born 4 March 1984) is a Russian former football goalkeeper who works as a technical coordinator at Spartak Moscow. Club career He made his Russian Premier League debut for FC Tom Tomsk on 27 September 2008 in a game against PFC CSKA Moscow. He gained national prominence after moving to Spartak Moscow, for which he played between 2011 and 2021. He was the first-choice goalkeeper for different periods during the decade, including in years Spartak participated in the UEFA Champions League. He was also the team's Vice Captain. 2016–17 FC Spartak Moscow Season
The 2016–17 Spartak Moscow season was the 25th successive season that the club played in the Russian Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Russia. Key events The pre-season friendlies were against NK Rudar Velenje, Istra 1961, FK Sarajevo, BSC Young Boys, and VfB Stuttgart. On 13 June former Juventus and Squadra Azzurra coach Massimo Carrera joined the club in an assistant manager role. Manager Dmitri Alenichev resigned from his position after the Spartak's elimination from the UEFA Europa league third qualifying round by AEK Larnaka. Carrera was appointed caretaker manager. The Russian First League (russian: Первая лига, Pervaya liga), formerly called Russian First Division (russian: Первый дивизион) and Russian Football National League (FNL) (russian: Первенство Футбольной Национальной Лиги, Pervenstvo Futbol'noy Natsional'noy Ligi) is the second level of the Russian football league system.
