Aleksandar Jovanović Ćuta
Aleksandar Jovanović ( sr-Cyrl, Александар Јовановић; born 30 September 1966), commonly known by his nickname Ćuta, is a Serbian environmental and political activist who has been a member of the National Assembly of Serbia since August 2022. Born in Belgrade, Jovanović often stayed at Stara Planina, a mountain in Eastern Serbia, and was interested in rock music, football, and chess during his youth. He founded the Defend the Rivers of Stara Planina organisation in 2017, which primarily concentrated on combating the construction of small hydros in the Stara Planina region, although over time, Jovanović shifted his presence over other regions of Serbia. He gained recognition in the media and has been noted as one of the representatives of environmental activism in Serbia. Žarkovo ( sr-Cyrl, Жарково, ) is an List of Belgrade neighborhoods, urban neighborhood of Belgrade, Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Čukarica. Location and divisions Žarkovo (Greater Žarkovo) is one of the most populous single neighborhoods of Belgrade. The Supreme Court () is the court of last resort in Serbia which reviews and possibly overturns previous rulings made by lower courts. The seat of the Supreme Court is in Belgrade. Visočica (river)
Visočica or Visochitsa () is a river that passes through easternmost Serbia and westernmost Bulgaria, a right tributary of the Temštica. It belongs to the Black Sea drainage basin. The name is a derivative of the Visok mountain (1588 m) in Serbia through which it passes; the word is Slavic, derived from ''visoko'' ("high"), in the feminine form. Course The river begins at a height of 1640 m in the Berovo mountain, part of the Balkan Mountains, immediately east of the Serbia–Bulgaria border. The first kilometres are in river canyons (''klisuri''), and in the Bulgarian part (16,7 km long) the river receives several streams, the Kuratska, Krivi Potok, Gubeshka and Renovshtitsa. Near the village of Komshtitsa it creates a sharp angle and turns west, flowing into the Visok Valley, and after a few kilometres enters Serbia. Pirot ( sr-Cyrl, Пирот) is a city and the administrative center of the Pirot District in southeastern Serbia. According to 2022 census, the urban area of the city has a population of 34,942, while the population of the city administrative area has 49,601 inhabitants.
