Alejandro Fernández (racing Driver)
Alejandro Fernández (born January 26, 1996) is a Colombian race car driver. He currently participates in the North American karting as well as the Red Bull Global Rallycross Championship in the class GRC Lites. Career His career in the world of motorsports began at age 16 when his family bought him his first Go-Kart as a birthday present. Two months later Fernández began to race in his first competitions in the United States. Since 2012 he has raced in several championships. In 2012 he raced in championships like Challenge of the Americas, California Prokart Challenge, SKUSA Pro Tour, International Karting Federation (IKF), among others. The following year Alejandro competed in the Florida Winter Tour, U.S. Grand Nationals, Los Angeles Kart Championship (LAKC) as well as championships in his homeland, including the Rotax Max Challenge Colombia and La Carrera de las Estrella which was organized by Fundación Sonrisas in Medellín. The 2016 Red Bull Global RallyCross Championship was the sixth season of the Global RallyCross Championship. Scott Speed was the reigning Supercars champion and Oliver Eriksson was the reigning GRC Lites champion. The schedule consisted of twelve rounds at eight different venues. The season started at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park on May 21 and it concluded at the Port of Los Angeles on October 9. Schedule A twelve-round provisional calendar was revealed on January 26, 2016 with the sixth, seventh and eighth round to be announced, though it was certain the sixth and seventh round would take place on a military base. The Ford Fiesta is a supermini car that was marketed by Ford from 1976 to 2023 over seven generations. Albert Lee "Buddy" Rice (born January 31, 1976) is an American former race car driver. He is best known for winning the 2004 Indianapolis 500 while driving for Rahal Letterman Racing, and the 2009 24 Hours of Daytona for Brumos Racing. Career Early years Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Buddy Rice is the son of a former drag racer. Rice's grandfather was from Indianapolis and passed on his interest in racing to Rice's father. Rice saw his first race when he was six years old. He started racing in go-karts when he was 11. Rice played baseball in high school in Phoenix, Arizona, and attracted the attention of college and professional scouts. However, both Rice and his father decided he would pursue a career in racing instead.
