Aldo Silva do Espírito Santo (born 7 September 1957), simply known as Aldo, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a right back. Career Born in the state of Amapá, Aldo began his career at EC Macapá, where he was regional champion of the Amazon in 1975. He later played for Paysandu, being state champion twice, and in 1982 he arrived at Fluminense. He entered the club's history with an unusual episode: he captured a black vulture, a bird symbol of CR Flamengo, which had been thrown onto the field by club fans during the final of the 1983 Campeonato Carioca. He earned the nickname "vulture hunter", and was three-time state champion and Brazilian champion with Fluminense, becoming the club's idol. He would be called up for the 1986 FIFA World Cup, but a serious tibia injury in 1985 made his rehabilitation for the competition impossible. Kirin Cup Soccer
The is an association football tournament organised in Japan by the Kirin Brewery Company. The host, Japan, is a participant in every edition. The tournament was founded in 1978 then known as Japan Cup (International competition which national teams and clubs participated in), and was last held in its full form in 2022. From 1992 onwards, the format was changed to a round robin national team competition. The first nation to win the competition was Argentina. Japan are the tournament's most successful team with eleven titles, followed by Peru with three titles. As of 2022, the current cup holders are Tunisia. The Taça Guanabara ( English: Guanabara Cup) is an annual football tournament attached to the Campeonato Carioca, the state football league in the Rio de Janeiro state. It has been organized since 1965 by the Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation. It has had different formats throughout its history. In its first seven editions (1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970 and 1971), the Taça Guanabara was a tournament in its own right, unrelated to the Campeonato Carioca, and the winner would represent Rio de Janeiro in the Taça Brasil national league competition. Format ;First Stage: The 40 clubs were divided in eight groups of five teams each, playing against the other teams of their respective groups twice.
