Alcaraz–Sinner Rivalry
The List of tennis rivalries, tennis rivalry between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner is one of the foremost of the 2020s. Colloquially referred to by the media and fans as "Sincaraz", a portmanteau of their names, the pair have faced each other 13 times since 2021, with Alcaraz leading the rivalry 8–5, including 3–2 at Grand Slam (tennis)#Tournaments, majors and 3–2 in finals. They have met in two major finals: the 2025 French Open – Men's singles final, 2025 French Open, won by Alcaraz, and the 2025 Wimbledon Championships – Men's singles final, 2025 Wimbledon Championships, won by Sinner. Alcaraz and Sinner are considered to be the two best tennis players of their generation, each winning multiple major titles—Alcaraz with five and Sinner with four—and both reaching the List of ATP number 1 ranked singles tennis players, world No. 1 ranking.
