The Alberts
The Alberts were a British music/comedy troupe of the mid-1950s to mid-1960s, featuring brothers Anthony "Tony" and Douglas "Dougie" Gray, along with Bruce Lacey. They were notable for their surreal performances. Career Educated at the Oratory School (Kensington), they were evacuated during World War II to Penzance. They left school after the war and performed their National Service in Egypt. They appeared on several of Spike Milligan's television series. They intended to inaugurate the fledgling BBC2 on 20 April 1964, but a power failure delayed the launch until the following day. FK Alberts
Futbola klubs Alberts is a Latvian football club, that plays in the Latvian Second League (2. līga), the third-highest league of Latvian football. The club was founded in 2001 and named after Alberts Šeibelis, Latvia national football team captain before World War II. Originally it was from the city of Riga. From 2008 to 2014 the team played its home matches at Carnikava, but from the 2016 season they play at Salaspils. At the end of 2006 FK Alberts created a joint team with FK Auda, but also retained a team in the Second League Vidzeme zone under the name of "Vecais Alberts". Jura Docenko Futbola Skola Alberts, commonly referred to as JDFS Alberts, is a Latvian Association football, football club based in Riga, that plays in Latvian First League (1. līga), the second-highest division of Latvian football.
