Alberto Salom Echeverría
Alberto Salom Echeverría (born June 10, 1952 in San José, Costa Rica) is a Costa Rican politician. He was a deputy with the Citizens' Action Party (Costa Rica), Citizens' Action Party from 2006 to 2010 and was the former councillor of San José (Costa Rica), San José. He is currently Rector (academia), Rector of the National University of Costa Rica. Biography Salom studied at the Buenaventura Corrales School from 1958 to 1964 and later at Saint Francis High School from 1965 to 1969. He graduated with a Bachelor's in political science and a doctorate in Government and Public Policy from the University of Costa Rica. Salom's political career began in his teenage years when he was elected President of the Student Council in 1969. At UCR, he was elected President of the Federation of Students from 1974 to 1975. The Social Christian Unity Party () is a centre-right political party in Costa Rica. Ottón Solís
Ottón Solís Fallas (born 31 May 1954 near Pérez Zeledón) is a Costa Rican politician. He graduated with a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Costa Rica in 1976 and gained a master's degree in economics from the University of Manchester in 1978. He is currently serving his second term as congressman. He was a founding member of the Citizens' Action Party (PAC for its Spanish initials) and ran as its three-time presidential candidate. As an academic, he has taught at several universities in the United States and Costa Rica. Luis Guillermo Solís Rivera (; born 25 April 1958) is a Costa Rican politician and educator who was the 47th President of Costa Rica from 2014 to 2018.
