Alberto López (Guatemalan Footballer)
Alberto "''Cuqui''" López Oliva (born 10 March 1944) is a Guatemalan football coach and former defender. He is one of three Guatemalan footballers to win the CONCACAF championship with both national team and club. He played the entirety of his career for CSD Municipal in the Guatemalan top division, and was a part of the squad that won the 1974 CONCACAF Champions' Cup. He scored over 40 goals in his career, a relatively high number for a full back. Also a member of the Guatemala national team, he was a part of the squad that won the 1967 CONCACAF Championship, and also competed in two World Cup qualifying campaigns and at the 1968 Olympic Games. Julio César Anderson
Julio César Anderson Quiroga (27 November 1947 – 7 August 2021) was a Guatemalan professional football striker who played the majority of his career for C.S.D. Municipal, in the Liga Mayor A, the top tier in the country. He was on the squad when it won the 1974 CONCACAF Champions' Cup. When he retired, he was the club's all-time leading goalscorer, and was the top scorer of the Liga Nacional three straight years. He was briefly in Mexico's top league, the Primera División. He also was a member of the Guatemala national team, he played at the 1976 Olympic Games and in two World Cup qualifying campaigns. 1969 CONCACAF Championship
The 1969 CONCACAF Championship was the fourth edition of the CONCACAF Championship, the football championship of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF). The tournament was held between 23 November to 8 December. Six teams participated in the tournament playing in the round-robin format to determine the winner. A late application by Haiti was rejected. The event was hosted by Costa Rica in the city of San José. The tournament was won by the host nation, for the second time after 1963, by tying defending champions Guatemala 1–1 in the deciding final match. Mexico used players from a second-level league. 1965 CONCACAF Championship
The 1965 CONCACAF Championship, was the 2nd edition of the CONCACAF Championship, the tournament was held in Guatemala from 28 March to 11 April. It had 6 participating teams. Qualifying round Caribbean Zone Jamaica, Trinidad, Dominican Republic withdrew from qualifying due to a schedule clash with qualification for the 1966 FIFA World Cup. Hosts of the final tournament, Guatemala refused to grant the Cubans visas to visit the country. Cuba complained to Helmut Käser, FIFA's General Secretary requesting for FIFA not to recognise CONCACAF.
