Ak-Terek () is a village in Osh Region of Kyrgyzstan about 43 km northeast of Özgön and 4 km northeast of Salam-Alik on the Jazy river. It is part of the Özgön District. Osh is a Regions of Kyrgyzstan, region of Kyrgyzstan. Its capital is Osh, which is not part of the region. It is bounded (clockwise) by Jalal-Abad Region, Naryn Region, China (Xinjiang), Tajikistan (Districts under Central Government Jurisdiction and Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region), Batken Region, and Uzbekistan (Andijan Region, Andijan and Fergana Regions). Fergana Range
The Fergana Range (; ) is a mountain range of the Tian Shan in the Kyrgyz Republic. The length of the range is 206 km, and the average height is 3,600 m above sea level. The highest mountain is 4,893 m above sea level. Geography The Fergana Range stretches from north-west to south-east, separating the Fergana Valley and the inner Tian Shan. The south-east section of the range is higher. It joins the Torugart Ridge and the Alaykuu Ridge via the Söök Pass (Naryn Region), Söök Pass (4024 m). The South-west slope is long and low-sloped, the north-east - short and steep. Mountain ranges southwest are denoted by collective term: Pamir-Alay system.
