Aishath Azeema (born 18 April 1969) is a Maldivian diplomat who is currently serving as the high commissioner of the Maldives to India and previously served as the Maldives' ambassador to China from 2019 to 2023. Career After completing the GCE Ordinary Level, Azeema subsequently joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Maldives), Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a public servant in 1988. She worked in various departments, primarily the Department of External Resources and the Foreign Relations Department, at one point serving as English language, English secretary at the ministry. Aishath Gulfa (born 17 March 1982) is a Maldivian film actress. She made her screen debut in 1999 with the video single "Nala Nala Dhanvaru Feni". Afterwards, she played supporting roles in several films including '' Kaiveneege Furathama Rey'' (1999), '' Ajaaib'' (2000), '' Hiiy Edhenee'' (2001) and '' Ginihila'' (2003). Aishath Inaya (15 May 1968) is a Maldivian singer. Early life and career Aishath Inaya is the mother of local performer and musician, Andhala Haleem. Inaya started her career in the music industry in 1987, by performing the song "Keerithi Lha Kujja" for the local band Zero Degree. Afterwards, she lent her voice for songs included in the album series of ''4 Hand'', followed by several stage shows. In 1995, the Government of Maldives honoured her with the National Award of Recognition. Inaya is mainly known for her soft, melodious and subtle songs. Aishath Nahula
Aishath Nahula (sometimes known by Aisha; born 12 March 1982) is a Maldivian politician and public figure. She was the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation of the Maldives from 2018 to 2023, and a current national council member of the Jumhooree Party. Career Aisha was elected to the National Executive Council of the Jumhooree Party in June 2018. During the 2018 presidential elections, Nahula traveled to several islands on campaign to garner support for MDP/joint opposition presidential candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih who won the elections which were held on 23 September 2018. Aishath Nazima (born ) is a retired Maldivian athlete. She competed in Volleyball, Basketball, Netball, Athletics and Handball. She was selected as Asia's 11th player of the tournament. She won one silver medal and one bronze medal. She was part of the Maldives women's national Volleyball, Athletics, Netball, Basketball and Handball teams. Early life At the age of seven, Maain's interest in music grew as she observes her father, Ibrahim Rasheed, working as a mentor to the students of MES Malé English School, participating in Television Maldives Interschool Singing Competition. In 2000, she presented her first stage performance while studying in Jamaluddin school where she was ranked third in her age category. Having found a passion for swimming at the age of 9 years while completing an activity badge for her school’s Little Maids group, she started competing at the national level in local competitions.
