Airport Road, Ontario
Airport Road is an 81 km (50 mile) major north–south urban and rural thoroughfare in Ontario, Canada, running through the Regional Municipality of Peel and Dufferin County. In combination with its continuation, Simcoe County Road 42, and in turn a portion of Ontario Highway 26, Highway 26 north of Clearview, Ontario#Geography, Stayner, it is a popular non-highway route (as an alternative to Ontario Highway 10, Highway 10 and former Ontario Highway 24, Highway 24) from the Greater Toronto Area to the Georgian Triangle, in particular the tourist towns of Wasaga Beach, Collingwood, Ontario, Collingwood, and The Blue Mountains, Ontario, The Blue Mountains. It is named for Toronto Pearson International Airport, which it passes at its southern terminus. It is designated Peel Regional Road 7 in Peel and Dufferin County Road 18 in Dufferin. Peel Regional Road 24
King's Highway 24, commonly referred to as Highway 24, is a highway in the Canadian province of Ontario that currently begins at Highway 3 in Simcoe, and ends at the southern city limits of Cambridge. The south–north route travels through Brantford, as well as the community of Scotland. Outside of those communities, Highway24 travels through a predominantly agricultural area. Highway24 was established in 1927 between Simcoe and Guelph. Between 1936 and 1938, it was extended northeast to Collingwood, as well as south from Simcoe to Port Dover. Much of the section of highway between Caledon Village and Collingwood followed Hurontario Street (partially as a concurrency with Highway 10), with the section of that historic route from Orangeville and Glen Huron being bypassed. Steeles Avenue is an east–west street that stretches across the western and central Greater Toronto Area in Ontario, Canada. Running from Appleby Line in Milton in the west to the Scarborough-Pickering Townline in the east, where it continues east into Durham Region as Taunton Road, which itself extends across the length of Durham Region to its boundary with Northumberland County. It is most notable for being the north city limit of Toronto where it borders the southern limit of York Region along its eastern half. York Region refers to Steeles Avenue as York Regional Road 95 but this use is only internal and there are no signs posted; as the street borders and is maintained by the City of Toronto.
