Aimable Bayingana (born July 14, 1970) is a Rwandan sports executive. Bayingana served as the president of Rwanda Cycling Federation (FERWACY) between 2007 and 2019. From October 2018 to December 2019, he chaired as the President of Union Francophone de Cyclisme, a cycling association that connects 33 countries. Early life Bayingana was born on July 14, 1970, in Gatsibo District, Gatsibo, Eastern Province, Rwanda, Eastern Province, Rwanda. He holds a bachelor of Arts from University of Lomé, Togo. Aimable Ciril Duperouzel (alternatively Amiable Sierl Duperouzel) (17 March 183110 December 1901) was a French-born convict transported to colonial Western Australia and a notable settler of the town of York. He was colloquially known in York as ''John, the Frenchman''. Early life Born Aimable Ciril Duperouzel in Saint-Aubin-du-Perron, Coutances, Manche Lower Normandy, France on 17 March 1831, he was the youngest son of Charles and Radégondle Duperouzel (Du pérouzel). Aimable was raised on the family farm. Life on the Channel Islands Duperouzel emigrated to the Channel Island of Jersey prior to 1848. He faced court accused of inducing a 10-year-old son of Elias Billot to rob his father on 5 September 1848 but the charge could not be substantiated and was later dropped. Aimable Robert Jonckheere (25 May 1920 – 24 September 2005), commonly known by friends and colleagues as "Jonck", was a psychologist and statistician at University College London (UCL). He is known for his work in nonparametric statistics, including the development of the eponymous Jonckheere's trend test. Early life Jonckheere was born in Hem, near Lille in France, in a house attached to an observatory. His father was Robert Jonckhèere, a French astronomer known for discovering 3350 double stars. During World War II Jonckheere was a conscientious objector in Jersey, where he remained during the German Occupation of the Channel Islands. Jonckheere took a first class degree in psychology with statistics in 1949 and a PhD in 1956, both from UCL. Aimable-Jean-Jacques Pélissier, 1st Duc de Malakoff (6 November 179422 May 1864), was a Marshal of France. He served in Algeria where he became widely known for his cruel conduct and extermination of entire tribes. He also served elsewhere, and as a general commanded the French forces in the Crimean War. Biography Pélissier was born at Maromme ('' Seine Inférieure''), of a family of prosperous artisans, his father being employed in a powder-magazine. After attending the military college of La Flèche and the special school of St Cyr, he entered the army in 1815 as second-lieutenant in an artillery regiment.
