Agustín Elduayen
Agustín de Carlos Elduayen (born 4 August 1964) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Born in San Sebastián, Elduayen made his professional debuts with local Real Sociedad, being barred by legendary Luis Arconada. In the 1985–86 season, however, as the starter suffered a severe injury in the first La Liga game, he was chosen by manager John Toshack as his successor, and the Basques eventually finished in seventh position but with one of the worst defensive records in the competition (51 goals against with 34 matches from the player). In the 1986 summer, Elduayen signed with fellow top flight club Atlético Madrid, starting in his first year but being relegated to the substitutes bench after the emergence of Abel Resino, who had been playing with the reserves. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time. The , commonly known as , or (in English) the Spanish Cup or King's Cup, and formerly known as Copa del Presidente de la República (1932–1936) and Copa del Generalísimo (1939–1976), is an annual knockout football competition in Spanish football, organized by the Royal Spanish Football Federation. Vicente Miera
Vicente Miera Campos (born 10 May 1940) is a Spanish retired football player and manager. A former football defender, he appeared in 139 La Liga games over ten seasons and scored two goals, mainly at the service of Real Madrid. Later, he embarked on a managerial career which lasted more than 25 years, and included a brief spell with the Spain national team. Playing career Born in the neighbourhood of Nueva Montaña in Santander, Cantabria, Miera played for two seasons (one in each major division) for hometown's Racing de Santander, moving in 1961 to Real Madrid.
