Agency X
Agent X (Nijo Minamiyori, alias Alex Hayden) is a fictional mercenary appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Gail Simone and Alvin Lee (comics), Alvin Lee, the character first appeared in ''Agent X'' #1 (Sept 2002), by Gail Simone and UDON. Publication history ''Agent X'' was born out of experiments with Marvel Comics' long-running ''Deadpool (comic book), Deadpool'' series, including the "miniseries within a series," (''Deadpool: Agent of Weapon X'' and ''Deadpool: Funeral for a Freak)'', in which the main series' numbering was demoted to secondary status below the "miniseries" numbering. Marvel decided to run a "final arc" to close the series, then restart it from #1 with an X in the title to more closely identify it with their popular X-Men franchise. Alvin Lee (comic Book Artist)
Alvin Lee is a Canadian comic book artist known for his manga-styled art. Lee is the co-creator, along with writer Gail Simone of the character Agent X (Marvel Comics), Agent X. Lee has worked under major comic book publishers including Image Comics under the UDON label, UDON studios as an independent publisher, Marvel Comics, DC Comics and Wildstorm Productions. Career Alvin Lee started his comic book career at 17, working as a comic book inker, mostly for Pat Lee (comics illustrator), Pat Lee's art, and was co-founder of now defunct Dreamwave Productions. Lee worked on titles such as ''Dark Minds'', ''Neon Cyber'', and ''Warlands''. His first comic as penciller was for ''Warlands: Banished Knights''. In 2001, Lee joined UDON as a lead artist with the revival of Capcom's Street Fighter (series), Street Fighter comic books and Darkstalkers comic books.
