Agata Vostruchovaitė
Agata Vostruchovaitė (born 2 December 2000) is a Lithuanian artistic gymnast and was the 2016 Lithuanian national champion. She represented Lithuania at the 2017 and 2019 World Championships. Early life Vostruchovaitė was born in Vilnius in 2000. She began gymnastics when she was four years old. Gymnastics career 2014–15 Vostruchovaitė competed at the 2014 Junior European Championships. In 2015 she competed at the European Youth Olympic Festival alongside Diana Balkytė and they finished 25th as a team. Individually Vostruchovaitė placed 52nd in the all-around during qualification. She next competed at the Bosphorus Tournament where she placed sixth. 2016–17 Vostruchovaitė became age-eligible for senior-level competition in 2016. 2020 European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships
The 33rd European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships were held from 17 to 20 December 2020 in Mersin, Turkey. The competition was originally scheduled to be held from 30 April to 3 May 2020 in Paris, France, but it was rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Baku, Azerbaijan was announced as the replacement host for 17 to 20 December, before the event was relocated to Mersin. Originally an Olympic qualifying event, the competition was undesignated as such in light of the ongoing pandemic, so as to avoid pressuring member federations to attend if they were not willing to do so. Gymnastics Floor
In gymnastics, the floor is a specially prepared exercise surface, considered an apparatus. The floor exercise (English abbreviation FX) is the event performed on the floor, in both women's and men's artistic gymnastics (WAG and MAG). The same floor is used for WAG FX and MAG FX, but rules and scoring differ; most obviously, a WAG FX routine is synchronised to a piece of recorded dance music, whereas MAG FX has no musical accompaniment. A spring floor is used in all gymnastics to provide more bounce and help prevent potential injuries to gymnasts' lower extremity joints due to the nature of the apparatus, which includes the repeated pounding required to train it. Cheerleading also uses spring floors for practice. The sprung floor used for indoor athletics is designed to reduce bounce. Gymnastics Uneven Bars
The uneven bars or asymmetric bars is an artistic gymnastics apparatus. It is made of a steel frame. The bars are made of fiberglass with wood coating, or less commonly wood. The English abbreviation for the event in gymnastics scoring is UB or AB, and the apparatus and event are often referred to simply as "bars". The bars are placed at different heights and widths, allowing the gymnast to transition from bar to bar. A gymnast usually adds white chalk to the hands so that they can grip the bar better. The vault is an artistic gymnastics maneuver typically performed on a pommel horse or a vaulting table. Both male and female gymnasts perform the vault. The English abbreviation for the event in gymnastics scoring is VT. The apparatus German Friedrich Ludwig Jahn popularized the vault's early forms. Tjaša Kysselef (born 27 April 1993) is a Slovenian artistic gymnast and a member of the Slovenian national team. Throughout her career, she has primarily competed as a vault specialist and has been successful on the FIG World Cup circuit. She has represented Slovenia at seven World Championships: 2009, 2010, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021. She is the 2018 Mediterranean Games vault silver medalist. Csenge Mária Bácskay (born 4 April 2003) is a Hungarian artistic gymnast and the Gymnastics at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics, 2018 Youth Olympic silver medalist on vault. Additionally, she was a member of the team that won bronze at the 2020 European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships, 2020 European Championships.
