Agartala Conspiracy Case
The Agartala Conspiracy Case was a sedition case in Pakistan during the rule of Ayub Khan (general), Ayub Khan against Awami League, brought by the government of Pakistan in 1968 against Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the then leader of the Awami League (Pakistan), Awami League and East Pakistan, and 34 other people. The case was filed in early 1968 and implicated Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and others in conspiring with India against the stability of Pakistan. Bidhan Krishna Sen
Bidhan Krishna Sen was a Bengali politician and an accused in the Agartala Conspiracy Case. Career In 1968, Sen was charged in the Agartala Conspiracy Case and was released in 1969. During that time Sen and Bibhuti Bhushan Chowdhury were the main liaison between Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the Indian government. He was the Vice-President of the Chittagong District unit of the Awami League. Sen worked with Sheikh Mujibur Rahman during the Bangladesh Liberation War. Sen was founding member of the Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal. As acting President of the Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal, Sen called for a movement against the Awami League government led by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on 22 October 1974. Khurshid Uddeen Ahmed
Khurshid Uddin Ahmed (19 March 1933 – 22 April 2013) was a Bangladesh Army Brigadier General who served in the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971. He was posthumously awarded the Independence Day Award in 2021. Early life and education Ahmed was born on 19 March 1933 in Gafargaon Upazila, Mymensingh District, British India (now Bangladesh). Ruhul Quddus
Rahul Quddus was a former bureaucrat of Bangladesh. He is the first and only secretary general of the Cabinet of Bangladesh and the first Principal Secretary of the Prime Ministers' Office. Col. Shawkat Ali (27 January 193716 November 2020) was a Bangladeshi politician who served as a deputy speaker of the Jatiya Sangsad. He was a member of the Awami League. He was one of the accused in the historic Agartala Conspiracy Case and a freedom fighter in the Liberation War of Bangladesh. Maksum-ul-Hakim was a jurist, diplomat and justice of Dhaka High Court in Bangladesh. He was an Advocate General for the government. He was an elected member of the Geneva-based UN Human Rights Committee for Prevention of Discrimination of Minorities. He was one of the judge of famous Agartala Conspiracy Case. The East Bengal Regiment () is one of the two infantry regiments of the Bangladesh Army, the other being the Bangladesh Infantry Regiment. East Bengal Regiment was founded by Major Abdul Gani. Khan Shamsur Rahman (), also known as Khan Mohammad Shamsur Rahman, was a Bangladeshi diplomat and the first ambassador of Bangladesh to the Soviet Union. He was the High Commissioner of Bangladesh to India. Career Rahman came first in the Central Superior Services examinations of 1951. The Asiatic Society of Bangladesh is a non political and non profit research organisation registered under both Society Act of 1864 and NGO Affairs Bureau, Government of Bangladesh. Khondkar Nazmul Huda
Khondkar Nazmul Huda (6 July 1938 – 7 November 1975) was a veteran of the Bangladesh Liberation War. The Bangladesh government awarded him the title of Bir Bikrom for his bravery in the war of independence. Early life Huda's ancestral home is in Kodalia village of Nagarkanda upazila of Faridpur district. His father's name was Khandaker Moazzem Hossain and his mother's name was Badrun Nesha Khatun. His wife's name is Nilufar Huda.
