The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (colloquially known as the Bucs) are a professional American football team based in Tampa, Florida. The Buccaneers compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the National Football Conference (NFC) NFC South, South division. They joined the NFL in as an expansion team, along with the Seattle Seahawks, and played their first season in the American Football Conference (AFC) AFC West, West division. Prior to the season, Tampa Bay switched conferences and divisions with Seattle, becoming a member of the NFC North, NFC Central division. The Seahawks eventually rejoined the NFC in 2002, leaving the Buccaneers as the only NFL team not to play in their original conference. As a result of the league's realignment prior to the season, the Buccaneers joined three former NFC West teams to form the NFC South. The team is owned by the Malcolm Glazer, Glazer family and plays its home games at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. The Buccaneers have won t ...

1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Season
The 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers season was the franchise's first season in the National Football League (NFL). History of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, The Buccaneers played their home games at Tampa Stadium and their inaugural head coach was John McKay (American football), John McKay. The Buccaneers gained infamy as the first team to play an entire 14-game season without winning or tying a single game (including five games where they never scored). It remains one of only four winless seasons since the merger. The Buccaneers did not score until their third game and did not score a touchdown until their fourth. They lost by more than a touchdown eleven times. Colorful, maverick former USC Trojans football, USC coach McKay, whose wisecracking remarks occasionally agitated fans and the league, led the team. The only bright spot was future Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Lee Roy Selmon, who made his rookie debut in an injury-plagued season. The 1976 NFL expansion draft, expansion draft ...

Super Bowl LV
Super Bowl LV was an American football game played to determine the champion of the National Football League (NFL) for the 2020 season. The National Football Conference (NFC) champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the American Football Conference (AFC) and defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs, 31–9. The game was played on February 7, 2021, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, the home stadium of the Buccaneers, marking the first time a team played a Super Bowl in its home stadium. Due to COVID-19 protocols limiting the stadium's seating capacity to 25,000 fans, Super Bowl LV was the least-attended championship game since December 1941, which had 13,341 attendees due to World War II restrictions. The lowest unrestricted (no attendance restrictions by pandemic or wartime restrictions) NFL championship game attendance was in December 1935, when 15,000 spectators attended. The Buccaneers' victory was their second and made them one of two teams, along with t ...

1982–83 NFL Playoffs
The National Football League playoffs for the 1982 season began on January 8, 1983. The postseason tournament concluded with the Washington Redskins defeating the Miami Dolphins in Super Bowl XVII, 27–17, on January 30, at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. A players' strike reduced the regular season to nine games. Thus, the league used a special 16-team playoff format (dubbed the "Super Bowl Tournament"), just for this year. Division standings were ignored (although each division did send at least one team to the playoffs). Eight teams from each conference were seeded 1–8 based on their regular-season records. Because of the eight-game first round, this was the first time that NFL playoff games were regionally televised across the United States instead of nationwide. (Since the 2022-23 NFL season, one first round playoff game is regionally televised in the primary markets only of the two playing teams.) This year was also the only season in which the conference cha ...

2024 Tampa Bay Buccaneers Season
4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Evolution of the Hindu-Arabic digit Brahmic numerals represented 1, 2, and 3 with as many lines. 4 was simplified by joining its four lines into a cross that looks like the modern plus sign. The Shunga would add a horizontal line on top of the digit, and the Kshatrapa and Pallava evolved the digit to a point where the speed of writing was a secondary concern. The Arabs' 4 still had the early concept of the cross, but for the sake of efficiency, was made in one stroke by connecting the "western" end to the "northern" end; the "eastern" end was finished off with a curve. The Europeans dropped the finishing curve and gradually made the digit less cursive, ending up with a digit very close to the original Brahmin cross. While the shape of the character ...
